Double Time By Tony Horton: A Workout Program For the Family

Doubletime started with a conversation in between Beachbody CEO Carl Daikeler and Tony Horton in a hotel room after an event last year.  How awesome would it be to create a program that creates an atmosphere were families can truly workout together.  We are not talking about two people working out to a program and standing side by side looking at a tv or a tablet.

We are talking about a program that involves working together.  A program where you can’t do it alone.

Double Time is not create as a weight loss program but as a program to create healthy habits and build stronger relationships inside of the home.

Relationships between parent and child, relationships between spouses, and relationships between siblings!.  Remember that when you are an ANNUAL Beachbody on Demand member you automatically get these new program releases added to your Beachbody on Demand library at no extra cost.

What is Double Time?

Double Time is Tony Horton’s very first fitness program that makes living a healthier lifestyle something you can do with another person.

You and your spouse or a friend (or one of your own kids) will take on daily partner workouts and healthy eating for 30 days. Just having that person around is going to give you the motivation to complete the entire program — and help you build stronger bonds along the way!

What: 30 days of total-body workouts (all 35 minutes or less) that feel more like play and less like work!
When: Launching November 2017.
Who: Anyone at any fitness level (ages 8 and up) can do Double Time.

How: When Double Time is available, you’ll be able to stream it on Beachbody On Demand or purchase the DVD program.

Why work out with a family member?

Studies show that you’re more likely to succeed with a fitness routine when you work out with another person.  This is why we run challenge and accountability groups!  You’ll encourage each other to show up and not let each other down. It will be more fun and you will be able to cheer each other on.

Using the Beachbody Buddy Ball or any other ball that you have in your home, you and your Double Time partner will communicate and rely on each other to complete every single move.

You can’t do this program alone. No more letting your partner sleep in.  You’ll be so focused on laughing and working together that you won’t be looking at the clock — so imagine how much easier it will be for you to stick with your new healthier habits!
